Prison nursing is a unique and fascinating profession but one which many healthcare professionals have never considered.
West Midlands SHA and South Staffs PCT have teamed up with Trusts that offer services within prisons to offer qualified nurses the opportunity to explore careers in prison health.
This website has been designed to give you information on the roles available within prison health and an insight into what its like working in a prison. Have a look at our other pages for more information about what life is like working in prison health.
