Responsibilities often include;

• Assisting the patient in all activities of daily living including washing, dressing, toilet needs, feeding and communication
• Ensuring the maintenance of high standards of care at all times
• Promoting an environment which promotes equality, sensitivity, patient comfort, dignity and privacy
